This is a complicated area given the recent legislation changes. Private and commercial clients could benefit from a significant reduction on the tax paid when they completed their sale.
Quick answer is Yes! You have 12 months from the filing date to have your relcaim processed; so for a sales transaction dated 1st July 2016 you only have until 1st July 2017 to claim.
